Bordeaux 2020 En Primeur | Château Gloria

Chateau Gloria is out with a remarkable 2020 vintage, released with its older sibling, Chateau Saint Pierre. This excellent duo from Saint Julien is delivering on quality and taste, with most Wine Critics praising these beautiful creations from the Martin Family.

Chateau Gloria is a relatively new comer in the region, being built by Henri Martin between 1930 and 1970. Prized plots were acquired by neighbouring Chateaux, most importantly from Chateau Beychevelle.

The vineyards are producing a quintessential Saint Julien of class and refinement. In 2020, Antonio Galloni is impressed by Gloria's "exceptional balance", while Neal Martin finds "penetrating blackberry, raspberry, crushed violet and crushed stone aromas". "A Wonderful Gloria" in the critics eyes which deserves a whopping 93-95 Points, a rather impressive achievement considering its release price of just £158 per 6 bottles, In Bond.
